Just in time for Thanksgiving, November’s classic movie night will feature the 1952 drama Plymouth Adventure, starring Spencer Tracy, Gene Tierney and Van Johnson. The film will screen Wednesday November 20th at 6:30 PM in the Henkelman Room, located on the 2nd floor of Scranton Public Library.

Light refreshments will be provided, and vintage entertainment will precede the film starting at 6:00 PM.

Plymouth Adventure (1952): The story of the voyage of the “Mayflower” in its historic voyage across the Atlantic to the New World. The passenger list includes John Alden and Priscilla Mullins among those who made the 96-day storm-filled crossing. Along the way the Captain has an ill-starred romance with the wife of a religious fanatic that ends in a sudden, dramatic way off the coast of Cape Cod. 1 hr., 45 min.
