Event Details

Kids ages 4-12 are invited to join us each Thursday from June 24-August 12th for fun hands-0n science adventures with Miss Terri.
Here’s a brief look at our topics:

June 24–Create your own dinosaur fossil.
July 1–Rockets! Experience chemical and physical reactions.
July 8–Make your own kinetic sand and discover how it is made.
July 15–Animal Tracks! We’ll discover this topic using a traveling trunk from the US National Park Service.
July 22–Decorate snacks and drinks with edible flowers.
July 29–Dino Dig! Learn more about what a Paleontologist does with this hands-on experience.
August 5–Hands On Butterfly Activities (Butterfly Release if the butterflies are ready!)
August 12–Learn about dragonflies and bead your own glittery Dragonfly.

Registration is required as space is limited to 15 children per event. Registrations may be made 2 weeks before a program.
Register by calling the library at 570-842-4700 or stop by in person at the front desk.
Masks and Social Distancing will be required on library property.
