The Valley Community Library is excited to be back with another year of Community Partnership Cleanup Events this Spring. We have partnered with the NEPA Sierra Club and other local organization to pick up litter, do a litter study and hold conversations about litter prevention and our environment.

Help us kick off the month with our first event on Saturday, April 1st at 8:00 A.M. and early morning clean-up that will be part of the Keep PA Beautiful “Sun-up to Sun-Down clean-up day.”

We are so excited to be partnering with the North Scranton Rotary Club and the Scranton Public Libraries for this event.

This event is an 18 and older event as we are picking up a high traffic area of the Scranton Expressway along Keyser Ave.

Supplies will be provided by Keep PA Beautiful, but if you have gloves from last year please bring them. Dress for the weather, wear sturdy shoes and bright colors.
