Friday, Oct 2: Sarah Piccini, Lackawanna Historical Society, sharing about Rose Cain and Kate Chapman (local)

Friday, Oct. 9: Hayley Lenahan, McCollom D’Emilio Smith Uebler LLC, sharing about the legal side of the vote

Friday, Oct. 16: Laura Gardoski and Renee Roberts, Abington Community Library, sharing about voting resources for all ages

Friday, Oct 23: Glynis Johns, Black Scranton Project, sharing about the Black vote in NEPA

Friday, Oct. 30: reminder about the election and making a plan to vote

This series is made possible by a generous grant from The American Library Association (ALA) and the Women’s Suffrage Centennial Commission (WSCC). This series “celebrates the 100th anniversary of the ratification of the 19th amendment and highlights the importance of libraries as hubs of civic education and engagement.” For teens and adults.
