If you are interested in looking at your well-being in detail and developing a plan of action to improve your overall well-being, then this workshop is for you. In the wellness workshop we will review a theoretical model of wellness that has been used in a lot of research. The model has five major components. We will begin the workshop with an overview of the model. Your well-being will be assessed at the first session and once again at the end of the six week period.
In the five weeks following the first week, we will review one major component each time we meet. We will also select an area to work in to improve your sense of well-being. Once the workshop begins, no new participants will be accepted.
Facilitator Annina Maheen Mirza has a Ph.D in Human Development from Marywood University and has an interest in wellness across the lifespan; her dissertation involved adapting the Five Factor Wellness Inventory into Urdu.
