Learning to read and looking for a safe space to practice? Hoping to perfect your public speaking skills? Well you’re in luck! The Valley Community Library is providing a fun, new program called “Woofs and Books” where readers of all ages will have the chance to practice or perfect their reading skills with a very special guest, Ollie a certified therapy dog. This program is a great opportunity for kids who might feel uncomfortable reading out loud, whether in class or at home, to feel calm and encouraged to practice their skills to a cute, fluffy audience. Registration is required.
