SUMMARY:Teen Volunteer Club
DESCRIPTION:Teen Volunteer Club at the Valley Community Library is an opportunity for teens to earn community service hours\, share their thoughts on teen programing and space\, and socialize with new friends while building a resume. Teens will work with library staff on a variety of tasks that are needed for the library to run smoothly and aid our amazing programs. Interested teens should fill out a Teen Volunteer Application. For all volunteers or presenters ages 14 and older we require their PA Criminal Background Check (available to be filled out at https://epatch.pa.gov/home) and a copy of a valid PA Child Abuse History Clearance (available to be printed from or filled out at compass.state.pa.us/cwis/public/home). This paperwork should be turned in at the front desk of the Library. Registration is required for each Teen Volunteer Club meeting so we can plan for the number of volunteers we will have and make sure we have the paperwork needed ahead of time.

The didgeridoo has been played by Aboriginal Australians for at least 1500 years\, and it’s known for its otherworldly sound. We’ll explore the Outback and the Great Barrier Reef\, we’ll unearth Aboriginal artwork and artifacts\, we’ll learn about amazing creatures like kangaroos and koalas … and much more … all while moving and grooving to the pulsing rhythms of the didge and worldly percussion instruments. The DDU Show is interactive\, educational\, motivational\, and super fun for all ages! Registration is required. SUMMARY:Teen Volunteer Club
DESCRIPTION:Teen Volunteer Club at the Valley Community Library is an opportunity for teens to earn community service hours\, share their thoughts on teen programing and space\, and socialize with new friends while building a resume. Teens will work with library staff on a variety of tasks that are needed for the library to run smoothly and aid our amazing programs. Interested teens should fill out a Teen Volunteer Application. For all volunteers or presenters ages 14 and older we require their PA Criminal Background Check (available to be filled out at https://epatch.pa.gov/home) and a copy of a valid PA Child Abuse History Clearance (available to be printed from or filled out at compass.state.pa.us/cwis/public/home). This paperwork should be turned in at the front desk of the Library. Registration is required for each Teen Volunteer Club meeting so we can plan for the number of volunteers we will have and make sure we have the paperwork needed ahead of time.
