Kids Grand Opening of New Children’s Area

The Carbondale Public Library is excited to re-open our Julie Matylewicz Martin Memorial Children’s Library. Children are invited to celebrate the new Children’s Area on Saturday, May 4th @ 1 PM with free raffles, snacks, and activities featuring “Fabulous Fishes” by Susan Stockdale.
Some new features include a bigger space, browsing options for picture books and readers, and new kids carpets. Come check it out!
Registration is required. You can register by stopping in or by giving us a call at 570-282-4281.
Renovations were made possible by a generous bequest of Robert Vandenberg, and by the Julie Matyleicz Martin Memorial Fund.
