Carbondale Public Library Happenings

Carbondale Public Library Happenings

May 8, 2015

Children recently participated in a bus trip to visit the Franklin Institute in Philadelphia. They had an opportunity to see the special exhibit “The Art of the Brick.” LEGO® creations by Nathan Sawaya are being featured. Not only did children get to visit this exhibit they were able to investigate science with hands-on exhibits throughout the museum. Examples include walking through a large heart model, climbing through a model of neurons in the brain, the wonders of electricity, and much more! Thanks to The Julie Matylewicz Martin Memorial Children’s Library of The Carbondale Public Library children were able to attend for FREE.

Children participate in many programs at the Carbondale Public Library. Many also sponsored by The Julie Matylewicz Martin Memorial fund.
