The Valley Community Library will host weekly Battle of the Book Review Sessions every Tuesday at 4:00 P.M. for our teams to prepare for the upcoming Lackawanna County Library System’s Battle of the Books in August. There is still time for students going into 4^th – 12^th grade to join one of our teams. We invite students to bring a friend and participate in this fun reading challenge where we will battle our knowledge of books in a fun trivia competition at Lackawanna College. The last day for students to register and join a team is Tuesday, June 25^th at 5:00 P.M. We are so excited that the Friends of the Valley Community Library are sponsoring our team competition shirts! Thursday, August 1 will be our official team tie-dying shirt program.
