Celebrate “Reading on the Move” and Our New Mobile Library

The new Mobile Library is on the way, and we invite teens to help us get ready for its arrival! Beginning Monday, September 9, teens are invited to submit designs for an original bookmark that responds to the question:

How does the Mobile Library bring adventure and learning to every corner of our community?

Submissions are accepted through Friday, November 1. Once all submissions have been received, you can vote for your favorite bookmark by visiting any Lackawanna County Library System location. The voting period is between Monday, November 4 and Friday, November 15. Winning bookmarks will be printed and shared at our Libraries.

Submission Guidelines:

• Contest is open to ages 12 through 17.
• One entry per person.
• Submissions can be hand-drawn or digital, but artwork must be original.
• The printed bookmark will be 2.25 by 7.5 inches in size.
• Each Library will select a winner.
• Designs should fit the theme “Reading on the Move” — whatever that means to you!
• Physical submissions can be returned to any LCLS Library. Digital submissions can be uploaded online.
