The Scranton Public Library has students covered for going back to school. From tutoring to homework assistance, there are a variety of tools to help students make the grade this year. Check out the list below.

Tutor.com

Tutor.com provides free tutoring assistance in math, science, social studies, and English. Students can review past sessions with their favorite tutors to keep track of their progress. Tutors can review resumes and school papers for students as well. Students can also access Tutor.com on its mobile app for iPod Touch, iPhone, and iPad.

Mango Languages

With 71 languages to choose from, Mango offers lessons on how to read, write, and speak a new language. Students can use Mango as a study tool for tests, quizzes, or homework.

Power Kids

Power Kids provides a variety of tools for elementary to middle school students. They can find articles, publications, biographies, and ebooks for all their research needs. BookFLIX, another program under Power Kids, offers interactive books and games to help students learn how to read and expand their vocabulary.

To access these online tools, students must have their own library card. All of the tools are available on the eResources page.
