Join us at libraries across Lackawanna County for a special Birdhouse Painting Event in support of the Lackawanna County Arts & Culture Department Shelter for All Initiative! 

Visit your local library to paint a wooden birdhouse.  Your birdhouse will then be proudly displayed throughout September at the Everhart Museum of Natural History, Science, and Art.  In October, you’ll be able to pick up your birdhouse to take home and enjoy!

This collaborative art project is designed to bring together creativity, community, and compassion, raising awareness about the importance of safe shelter for everyone.  Let’s show what we can build together – one birdhouse at a time!
