Community Clean-up: Archbald
April 12 @ 11:00 am - 1:00 pm
The Valley Community Library is excited to be partnering with QueerNEPA, and the NEPA Sierra Club to clean up along a portion of Main Street in Archbald for the 5th year in a row! Since this event is along Main Street, which we will cross at times, and in the wooded areas along the road, it is for ages 13 and older.
Join us on Sunday, April 12th at 11:00 A.M. as we make our town and community beautiful. This event will include the Best Practice’s Award-Winning Litter Study, in which we take an in-depth look at the litter we find at each location, which will then be displayed in the Library. QueerNEPA has been an amazing partner to work with, as we always strive to promote Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion in all our events. If you have a Community Cleanup Shirt from a previous cleanup, please wear that. You are welcome to bring your own gloves and trash grabbers. All supplies are provided in partnership with Keep NEPA Beautiful and the Lackawanna County Environmental Office.
Advanced registration is required online at sierraclub.org
