That’s the idea communicated by International Women’s Day 2019!

It’s not a new idea. The first International Women’s Day was observed in 1911 – that’s years before women even had the right to vote in the United States and England.

If you want to learn more about how women have changed the world, stop by the Library and pick up some books about women in history, women in the arts, women in business, women in medicine – women in any walk of life you can think of.

You will find women wherever life is happening.
