Scranton Public Library Adds New Spanish Book Collection / La biblioteca pública de Scranton agrega una nueva colección de libros en español

LIBROS EN ESPANOL!
Para atender mejor las diversas necesidades de los usuarios de nuestra biblioteca, la Biblioteca Pública de Scranton acaba de agregar una amplia colección de libros en español a la colección en circulación.
Esta nueva colección incluye novelas clásicas / libros de lectura de verano (Rebecca, El gran Gatsby, El hobbit, El cuento de la criada, Lo que el viento se llevó) y las más vendidos contemporáneos traducidos al español (como La Chica Salvaje de Delia Owens, Los Quatro Vientos de Kristin Hannah, la trilogía Cincuenta Tonos de EL James, La Paciente Silenciosa de Alex Michaelides, Malibu Rising de Taylor Jenkins Reid y Siete Maridos de Evelyn Huigo), así como libros de autores populares de habla hispana nativa como Tamara Balliana, Laura Esquivel, Paola Calasanz y Jordi Sierra i Fabra.
También hemos agregado varias biografías y autobiografías (incluyendo Tierra Prometida de Barack Obama y Convirtiéndose (Becoming) de Michelle Obama, la biografía definitiva de Frida Kahlo por Hayden Herrera, la autobiografía más vendida de la presentadora de noticias de Columbia Ilia Calderon y la autobiografía de Danny Trejo recientemente publicada), así como otros libros de no ficción sobre una variedad de temas (el poema inaugural de Amanda Gorman, la guía de estudio de GED, la salud y la dieta, un manual para escribir una novela e incluso la brujería moderna) de esta nueva colección.
BOOKS IN SPANISH!
To better meet the various needs of our library users, the Scranton Public Library has just added a wide collection of Spanish books to the circulating circulation.
This new collection includes classic novels / summer reading books (Rebecca, The Great Gatsby, The Hobbit, The Handmaid’s Tale, Gone With the Wind) and contemporary best sellers translated into Spanish (such as Delia’s Owens’ Where The Crawdads Sing, Kristin Hannah’s The Four Winds, the Fifty Shades Trilogy by EL James, The Silent Patient by Alex Michaelides, Taylor Jenkins Reid’s Malibu Rising and Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo) as well as books by popular native Spanish-speaking authors such as Tamara Balliana, Laura Esquivel, Paola Calasanz and Jordi Sierra i Fabra.
We have also added several biographies and autobiographies (including Barack Obama’s A Promised Land and Michelle Obama’s Becoming, Frida Kahlo’s definitive biography by Hayden Herrera, Columbia News Anchor Ilia Calderon’s best-selling autobiography, and the new autobiography by actor Danny Trejo) as well as other non-fiction books on a variety of topics (including Amanda Gorman’s inauguration poem, a GED study guide, books on health and diet, a manual to write a novel and even modern witchcraft) from this new collection.
