Ancestry Library- Home Access to end December 29, 2021

Ancestry Library Edition, the genealogy resource from Proquest, will no longer be available for home use after December 29, 2021. Home use permission was originally granted as a response to COVID-19 restrictions on visits to public buildings, including libraries.

Genealogy researchers can still use Ancestry Library Edition on computer workstations at the library.

Note that HeritageQuest, another genealogy resource, continues to be available for home use. It can be reached by visiting the Lackawanna County Library System’s eResources page.
