Ancestry.com @ The Library
February 3, 2017
Have you always wondered about Genealogy and how to get started? Or, you already have started but would like to learn about some additional digital resources, including Ancestry.com available here for free? Volunteer Tom Price, a retired math teacher, is offering a series of three classes to walk you through the proper way to document findings, using free, subscription based, and pay-as-you-go digital resources for researching your own Genealogy. You must be computer literate but not necessarily Genealogy literate! Please call or stop by to register; a waiting list has been made available as well. The series will run on Wednesdays, Feb. 1,8,15 from 11AM to 12PM at the Abington Community Library. NOTE: We will be using our new Surface Pros (compliments of the Friends of the Abington Community Library) to explore Ancestry.com but feel free to bring your own laptop or electronic device to try the other sites.
