August Wednesday Movie Matinees at Albright to Feature “The Public” “Little” and “Long Shot”

Scranton Public Library has announced the films being screened in August for the Wednesday Movie Matinees.  All screenings will be held Wednesday afternoons at 2 PM in the Henkelman Room, located on the second floor of Scranton Public Library.  All screenings are handicapped accessible.

Wednesday, August 14th 

The Public (2018): An act of civil disobedience turns into a standoff with police when homeless people in Cincinnati take over the public library to seek shelter from the bitter cold. Rated PG-13. 1 hr, 59 min

Wednesday, August 21st

Little (2019): A woman is transformed into her younger self at a point in her life when the pressures of adulthood become too much to bear. Rated PG-13. 1 hr, 49 min.

Wednesday, August 28th

Long Shot (2019): Journalist Fred Flarsky reunites with his childhood crush, Charlotte Field, now one of the most influential women in the world. As she prepares to make a run for the Presidency, Charlotte hires Fred as her speechwriter and sparks fly. Rated R. 2 hr, 5 min.
