Children’s Books Sought as Christmas Presents

There is just over a week left in October, so if you want to help make some kids in our community happy this Christmas, you still have time to do so by donating gently used children’s books to “Operation ‘Dear Santa’”.
On Christmas Day, the books donated this month will be under the tree for youngsters to enjoy all year long.
Make sure that the books are in good condition, with no tears, stains or bent pages. Then drop them off in the designated container at the Library.
“Operation ‘Dear Santa’” is being done in association with the Lackawanna County Bar Association, Friends of the Poor, and Allied Services.
