SummerQuest- Adventure Begins at Your Library

Get ready for an unforgettable Summer adventure. Our annual SummerQuest reading and activity challenge will be returning from June 17 through August 9. Readers of all ages are invited to embark on a thrilling journey filled with books, prizes, and endless fun.

This year’s theme “Adventure Begins at Your Library,” encourages residents of Lackawanna County to discover the many resources available at their local libraries by exploring new reads, completing recreational activities, and attending enriching events.

Patrons may stop by any library in Lackawanna County during the challenge for a log sheet that allows them to track their reading progress and find recommendations for adventure-themed activities.

This year’s challenge also features a passport program that encourages participants to visit all the libraries across Lackawanna County. For each Library visit patrons will receive a raffle ticket for an Amazon gift card, when returning a completed passport you will get an additional raffle ticket for that location.
