Community Tales Series Continues

Our special summer series for kids, “Community Tales,” has been a hit so far!

We have been thrilled to welcome speakers for the first three weeks to share their experiences with various character qualities.

For the first week, Library Teen Leadership Committee member Conal talked about his experiences teaching swimming, and lessons on being courageous.

Week 2 we welcomed Ricardo Montijo, local hero, who talked about being committed and keeping your promises.

This week, retired teacher and dedicated Library volunteer Cindy Reynolds shared her tips on being positive.

We are looking forward to two more meetings featuring “Generosity” and “Kindness.” They will take place Mondays at 10:30AM on August 2 and August 9. Sign up for Generosity here and Kindness here.
