July 17, 2020
The Abington Community Library is pleased to present a new series entitled “Conversations Matter” which explores current events and promotes discussion and change in our community. Our first program will focus on “Black Lives Matter” and systemic racism in America. Dr. Lia Richards Palmiter will facilitate this discussion on Thursday, July 23 at 7 PM on Zoom. Community members are welcome to join this virtual event and share their experiences with racism in Northeastern Pennsylvania and discuss ways to educate and change our community. Email RRoberts@albright.org to register for this important conversation. For teens and adults.
