Thursday, October 17 from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M.
(Adult Programming)
Paulina of Experience Pottery will be at North Pocono Public Library for a special fall pottery project! Participants will use hand-building techniques to create their own pottery fall leaf dish, from molding to painting to decorating. Your experience includes all materials and processes: pottery experience, paint/glazing, tools, and firing to make your piece food, microwave, and dishwasher safe.
After the event, pieces will be taken to the studio for glazing and firing. Finished pieces will be available at the library for pickup (allow 4 weeks for processing).
Please arrive ten minutes to the event in clothes and shoes you don’t mind getting a little dirty. Also remember to remove all jewelry from your wrists and fingers before we begin.
Disclaimer: We cannot guarantee that you will create the exact shape and result from the pottery piece in the sample images you will see. We will make every effort to work with you to create the shape of handcrafted pottery you desire, but remember that each piece will look different in shape and size depending on what you create. Every piece will be beautiful since it will be made by you! All of your creative energy will be embedded to enjoy for a lifetime! Note that unexpected things can happen during the pottery-making process, and the material can react in unexpected ways. While we will take every precaution to achieve a successful piece, clay can break during drying, transportation, or firing. If your handcrafted pottery doesn’t get completed, you will receive a handcrafted pottery piece made by artisan.
Registration is required. There is a $25 program fee.
