Are you using or thinking of using an insulin pump to manage your diabetes? Talk with diabetics who know. Join insulin pump users with/without a sensor in a group setting to share and talk about your experiences. The group is open to children, parents, and senior citizens who are presently using a pump or are considering it. Meeting at the library and on Zoom.
The Abington Community Library hosts the monthly Insulin Pump Support Group on the third Thursday of each month at 6:00 PM. It is free and open to the public.
On Thursday, March 20 at 6:00 PM, David Kozinski, M.Ed., MBA Territory Manager Central Pa. for Tandem Diabetes Care, will speak on Automated Insulin Delivery Devices such as the t:slim X2 and the Tandem Mobi System.
David has lived in the North East Pa by way of Brooklyn, NY since 1979. Since coming to Easton, Pa, he has had the privilege of graduating from Easton High School where he lettered in Baseball. Following his High School career, David pursued a BS degree in Corporate Fitness followed by a Masters Degree in Sport Management. Last but not least, David received his MBA at Moravian College with a Concentration in Marketing.
During his 25 years in the health care industry, David has specialized in the the following disease states, Endocrine, Gastroenterology and Rheumatology where he specialized in medications and devices for diabetes and biologics for various autoimmune diseases.
David recently joined Tandem Diabetes in January and currently covers Central Pa.
Attending the meeting, which is free and open to the public, will be a great opportunity to learn more about pump therapy and what Tandem offers. David will be happy to answer any questions so mark your calendar and plan to attend this informative presentation.
