Learn Hands-Only CPR with the American Heart Association

Hands-Only CPR (without mouth-to-mouth breaths) provided by a bystander is as effective as conventional CPR for cardiac arrest if done in the first few minutes after sudden cardiac arrest. In this workshop, you will:

• Recognize the importance of knowing what to do and calling 911 for help.
• Understand that performing CPR immediately can double or triple a cardiac arrest victim’s chances of survival.
• Practice performing Hands-Only CPR and learn how to place AED pads on a manikin.
