Join us for an inspiring evening with YA author Chaz Hayden, as he shares his journey as a writer and disability advocate, his path to publication, and the story behind his debut novel, The First Thing About You.

Chaz writes with honesty and humor about disability, identity, and finding your place in the world, and he’s excited to connect with teens who love books, storytelling, and learning about the writing process. Bring your questions, get advice on writing and creativity, and discover the behind-the-scenes of publishing your first book as a teen or young adult.

This free event is open to teens in grades 7-12. Bring your friends, enjoy snacks, and leave inspired!
