Join North Pocono High School student and photographer, Joy Beckish, at North Pocono Public Library for a showcase of her photo series, “Moments.” In this series, Beckish attempts to convey the connectedness of the North Pocono community. She photographed community members in the midst of their daily tasks and asked them, “What do you love about North Pocono?” Her hope is for people to explore how every day moments connect us to each other. Local nature photography by kids of “Budding Botanists,” a photography group founded by Beckish, will be included in the art exhibit. Patrons are invited to share their own photos or something that reminds them of North Pocono. Attendees will also enjoy a mocktail bar.
