Fall Saturday Spotlight

Fall Saturday Spotlight

June 14, 2016

Preparation for Dalton Community Library’s Fall Saturday Spotlight:  Mary Hart suggested we read Don’t Let’s Go to the Dogs Tonight by Alexandra Fuller.  A memoir set in war-torn Rhodesia, Mary assures us it is humorous and light reading.  See notes in the attached link. Mary will facilitate when we meet on Saturday, September 24th at 10:30.  Please bring your suggestions and we will plan the remainder of the year.  All present appreciated the year being planned well in advance.

We had two additional recommendations for our summer reading:
My Brilliant Friend by Elena Ferrante

Between the World and Me by Ta-Nehisi Coates

Finally, Scranton Reads has chosen The Handmaid”s Tale by Margaret Atwood.
Have a wonderful summer and HAPPY READING!!
