Family Mini Golf at the Library
May 11, 2021
The Scranton Public Library will bring back its Family Mini Golf fundraiser on Sunday, June 13, 2021 from 11:00 AM to 5:00 PM. This family-friendly event will take place at the Albright Memorial Library on 500 Vine Street in Scranton and the Lackawanna County Children’s Library, next door. All proceeds from the fundraiser will benefit library programs and services for children.
People of all ages can enjoy playing 18 holes of mini-golf right in the library. Each course is designed to use the library’s bookshelves, ramps, and open spaces to create a one-of-a-kind mini-golf experience. The course will start at the Albright Memorial Library and continue into the Lackawanna County Children’s Library. This year, the course will feature some outdoor holes – weather permitting.
Guests can also take a chance on several raffle baskets. Putter and golf balls will be provided.
Face masks will also be required to be worn by participants ages 2 and up, in accordance with CDC guidelines. Hand sanitizing stations will be placed throughout both libraries for guests to use. Putters and golf balls will be sanitized after each player.
Tickets cost $5 for children ages 12 and under and $10 for everyone else. Tickets will go on sale May 13 online through Eventbrite http://scrantonpl@eventbrite.com and in-person at any Scranton Library location:
