Gear Up For Teen Reading Lounge!
January 23, 2020
Teen Reading Lounge is back and better than ever! For our first January meeting (Friday, Jan. 24 at 4:15 PM), we’ll share about books we’ve read recently and really loved! Bring your book with you and let others know why it is so good and why they should read it. Hopefully, you can get some recommendations from your friends for your next great book. There will be a taco bar as it relates to Renee’s most recent read, so come hungry! This is open for teens in grades 5-12.
For our older teens (grades 9-12), we’re continuing our special Teen Reading Lounge Social Justice Book Club meetings where we discuss social justice topics. Our first meeting is Monday, March 2 from 5-6 PM and we’re reading Shallow, Selfish, and Self-Absorbed: 16 Writers on the Decision to Not Have Kids by Meghan Daum.
We hope you’ll join us for a great year of book discussions and fun!
