Historic Fun Planned for Children’s Day at the Catlin House
SCRANTON, PA – Bring your kids and grandkids to the Catlin House on Saturday, July 27 for Children’s Day!! This special open house and porch party for kids will be held from noon to 3 pm at the Society’s headquarters, the Catlin House, 232 Monroe Avenue, Scranton.
Learn about what the region was like thousands of years ago with items from an archaeological dig, play old-fashioned games, help paint a giant mural, and make crafts to take home. Brookvalley Farms will offer pony rides as well. This annual program is part of the Lackawanna County Library System’s Summer Reading Program, and is free and open to all ages.
