Insulin Pump Support Group

The Abington Community Library hosts their monthly “Insulin Pump Support Group” the third Thursday of each month at 6:00 PM. It is free and open to the public.
On Thursday, November 21, 2024 at 6:00 PM, Christopher Swallick, Territory Manager NEPA for Tandem Diabetes Care, will speak to the group with information about Dexcom G7 integration and Libre integration with the Tandem pumps as well as the news of the newly FDA approved Tandem Mobi durable/disposable micro pump as well as the t:slim X2 insulin pump. Learn more about the world’s smallest, durable automated insulin delivery system. He has served as the Tandem Territory Manager for the last five years.
Chris moved from New Jersey to the NEPA area in 2004. He worked with Sanofi Aventis as the Sales Representative in charge of Lantus and Apidra insulins in the Scranton/Wilkes-Barre area. After 3 years, he transitioned into Diabetes Medical Devices and working with insulin pumps and novel continuous glucose monitors (CGM). He has worked with Animas Insulin Pumps, A Division of J&J; and Senseonics, working with implantable CGM sensors. During the last five years he has worked with Tandem as the Territory Manager and is presently in charge of the Eastern Part of Pennsylvania and New Jersey.
Attending the meeting, which is free and open to the public, will be a great opportunity to learn more about pump therapy and what Tandem offers. Chris will be happy to answer any questions so mark your calendar and plan to attend this informative presentation.
