The Lackawanna County Library System is pleased to announce it was one of nearly 200 facilities in the United States selected to receive a grant from the ASRT National Library Partnership to purchase books that focus on radiologic technology’s role in health care and society.
Throughout December, select libraries in the system (Abington Community Library, Albright Memorial Library, Carbondale Public Library, Dalton Community Library, North Pocono Public Library, Taylor Community Library, and Valley Community Library) will feature a book display that highlights the history of the radiologic sciences, technology advances from the past century and information about radiologic technology.
