Let Your Life Speak: An Artist Talk with Cindy Reynolds
November 29, 2018
Join artist Cindy Reynolds as she speaks about her artwork, inspiration, and unique path post-retirement. Her solo exhibition, “Seasonal Sentiments” is on display throughout the Library during the month of December. Her art features intimate winter scenes alongside inspirational sayings. Each year she creates a watercolor painting which she prints for her cards and whose message and painting reflects her year.
The event, “Let Your Life Speak: An Artist Talk with Cindy Reynolds” will take place on Tuesday, December 4 from 6-8 PM at the Abington Community Library. Register for this great evening by calling or stopping in at the Library.
Cindy is a retired teacher from Mountain View School District, where she taught for 35 years. Cindy is involved in the community; she teaches painting classes and her workshop “Making Book Characters Come Alive” has been presented to local adult organizations as well as state conferences. She also promotes the joy of reading by dressing as a variety of book characters while visiting schools, libraries and other programs for children.
