Library Express Closed 11/17 and 11/18
November 17, 2020
Today, November 17th, we learned that one of our staff was in close contact with someone who tested positive for COVID-19. The contact did not occur in the library. We are therefore temporarily closing Library Express for deep-cleaning. When we reopen on Thursday, November 19th at 11 am, we will continue our practice of screening our staff daily, cleaning high-touch surfaces frequently throughout the day, enforcing social distancing, and requiring masks. The health and safety of patrons and staff are the library’s highest priorities, and we thank you for your support and patience during this time. During the closure services are still available at the Albright Memorial Library, Lackawanna County Children’s Library, Nancy Kay Holmes Branch, and all Lackawanna County Library System libraries.
