Make Late Fees A Thing Of The Past

More Renewals & Online Option Save Money
Fines for overdue library material can be a thing of the past, thanks to a revised renewal policy at all Lackawanna County libraries.
Patrons can now renew books, audiobooks and compact discs for up to four additional two week periods. That means that material can now be kept for up to 10 weeks! (Renewal is subject to items not having holds on them and does not apply to non-holdable 7 Day items.)
As long as you remember to renew the material every two weeks during the borrowing period and return it at the end of that time, there are no late fees to pay.
Videos and DVDs, which can be borrowed for one week, will be eligible for two additional one-week renewals.
Renewing is easy. Go to “My LCLS” on the Library System website, select “Renew My Checkouts” and follow the instructions. It’s that easy.
