Meals on Wheels Clients to Benefit
“PAWsitively for the Animals,” is a volunteer organization based in Scranton that is dedicated to pet rescue, adoption and low cost spay and neuter services, and it needs your help.
During the month of March, Lackawanna County libraries are collecting cat litter, canned and dry dog, cat, puppy and kitten food, treats, collars and leashes, bowls, litter scoops and blankets PFTA needs to help care for animals.
Some of your donations will go to Meals on Wheels “Treasured Friends” program, which delivers pet food for beloved animals along with nourishing meals for the elderly and homebound.
Small bags of pet food are preferred for the Meals on Wheels effort, as they are easier for recipients to handle, and cat food is preferred.
You can drop your contribution off at any Library.
