Due to a scheduling conflict, March’s Classic Movie Night has been rescheduled to Wednesday, March 27th at 7 PM in the Henkelman Room, located on the second floor of Scranton Public Library.
March’s classic movie is the pre-code classic musical Gold Diggers of 1933.
Admission is free with your library card.
The Depression won’t dampen dese dames’ dreams.
William Warren, Joan Blondell, Dick Powell, Ruby Keeler and Ginger Rogers star in this classic pre-code musical. It features musical numbers created and directed by Busby Berkeley.
The film will screen at 7 PM, but early birds will be treated to vintage entertainment starting at 6:30 PM.
