“Maybe You Should Talk to Someone”
May 21, 2019
May is Mental Health Awareness Month, so we’re shining a spotlight on a new release which explores a therapist’s experience with therapy herself. Lori Gottlieb’s Maybe You Should Talk to Someone has been garnering a lot of attention as she opens up about her therapy journey. She began going, only planning on attending a few sessions, after the man she thought she would marry broke up with her out of the blue. However, she stayed in therapy longer and worked on uncovering and working through deeper personal issues.
If you are looking for something to read this month, this is a great book to pick up! Engaging and open, it will change how you think about therapy, the mind, and your own relationships. If you want to hear Gottlieb talk about her book, listen to her interview with Terry Gross.
