North Pocono Sweeps Battle of the Books

The North Pocono Public Library had a fantastic showing by winning all grade levels: Grades 4-6, Grades 7-9 and Grades 10-12. Congratulations to the winning teams!

All participants deserve a round of applause. Competition was tough, and many rounds were decided by just one point.

If you are unfamiliar with Battle of the Books teams of 3-5 from around Lackawanna County read a list of 5 books selected by our Children’s and Young Adult librarians. Students in grades 4-6 participate in our Junior Battle of the Books. We are astounded by the participation at this level with a total of 17 teams this year! Our Teen Battle is for students in grades 7-9 and grades 10-12. Participants impressed us with their knowledge of this years tough selections.
