Peg’s Private Collection: A Display of Original Quilts from the Collection of Peg Winter

Abington Community Library is honored to present a quilt show, February 3 – February 28, in memory of Peg Winter. In September of 2006 the Library began offering instruction for beginning quilters under the direction of RSVP volunteer Margaret “Peg” Winter. Peg, a kind and remarkable woman, had the knack of finding the best in everyone, and of finding their hidden talents. She lead the group, Always In Stitches, through many projects and fundraisers for the library and other organizations until her untimely death in 2014. The quilts on display are from her private collection and now lovingly owned by her students, and friends, who dedicate this show to her memory.
