Do you wonder what to do with old pill bottles you get from the pharmacy once they are empty? If you’re inclined to just throw them away, stop! Lackawanna County libraries are collecting pill containers during the month of September and sending them to Mandeville, Jamaica, where they are needed.

Any and all sizes are welcome. Simply remove the label (soaking in hot water helps) and drop them off at the library. This is recycling that does some real good.
