Parents looking to practice reading and literacy skills with their children can use BookFlix, whether at home or on the go. 

BookFlix is FREE to use with your Lackawanna County Library System library card.

BookFlix pairs popular storybooks with a nonfiction ebook to create an interactive literacy program for children in grades Pre-K to 3rd grade.

With each pairing, children can watch and listen to a story read out loud, read the story with no sound, play puzzle games that ask questions about what they read, and they can explore more by searching the web safely through BookFlix.

There are a variety of storybook topics, from animals and nature to history and even music!
