Need some help deciding how to get out of your reading comfort zone to participate in the 2017 Book Challenge?
Here is a list of 22 different categories of books you can choose from. They are all listed on the Book Challenge form that you can pick up at the Library. It’s a great way to discover books you might otherwise not read.
- A book recommended by a librarian
- A book you can finish in a day
- A book you’ve been meaning to read
- A book you’ve already read once
- A book chosen for you by your spouse, partner, sibling, child, or BFF
- A Pulitzer Prize winner
- A book with a color in the title
- A book by an author who’s new to you
- A book based on a true story (includes memoirs)
- A book that became a movie
- A book from your childhood
- A book by a male author
- A book by a female author
- A book that is funny
- A book based solely on its cover
- A book of poetry
- A book about a television show
- A play
- A book with magic
- A graphic novel
- A book with a one word title
- A new bestseller
