Scranton Reads Kicks Off This Week!
September 30, 2019
Join us for the kick-off of Scranton Reads with a Movie Matinee Double Feature at the Albright Memorial Library!
On Saturday, October 5 from 12-4 pm, we will be screening two iconic Frankenstein films. At 12 pm, we will watch the 1974 comedy Young Frankenstein starring Gene Wilder as Doctor Frankenstein and Peter Boyle as the Creature! Hilarity ensues in this twist on the classic story!
At 2 pm, we will watch the original 1931 classic film Frankenstein, directed by James Whale. Considered the original Frankenstein movie, this film created the iconic green color of the Frankenstein monster.
Come to both movies or pick one! Light refreshments will be served. RSVP is not required but encouraged. Please call (570) 348-3000 ext. 3023 to reserve your seat.
