International Talk Like A Pirate Day is this Wednesday, September 19th! If you’re interested in learning how to chat like Blackbeard or swap stories with Mary Read, you’re in luck! Mango Languages, a free service available to you with your Lackawanna County Library card, has an entire lesson devoted to teaching you to talk like a pirate. Login on their website (http://lclshome.org/find/, scroll down to ‘Mango Languages’ and enter your library card number) to begin learning pirate talk.
