Embark on a Creative Journey with Your Library this Summer!
June 1, 2025
Our annual SummerQuest reading challenge is on its way, and this year we’re ready to “Color Our World” with a tapestry of colorful experiences, resources, and events! Beginning on June 30 and until August 8, join us to celebrate the many ways that art enriches the world around us and encourages creativity, exploration, and diversity.
This summer, Libraries are the place where creativity runs wild, stories come to life, and fun is just the beginning. Enjoy our collection of books, music, movies, and games as well as a variety of hands-on activities and programs that will help spark your creativity. Pick up an activity sheet from any of our Libraries than can help you track your reading progress over the summer and will offer suggestions for colorful, creative activities. Be sure to return your completed log to be entered into a raffle at the conclusion of SummerQuest!
Aside reading and activities, all Libraries will host a variety of programs to help attendees explore new hobbies, discover hidden talents, and uncover the dynamic beauty of their surroundings. This summer we will offer special collaborative events with the Everhart Museum of Natural History, Science, and Art and Ryan the BugMan that will provide an array of enriching artistic experiences in addition to our regular book clubs, story times, and crafts. Learn more about these programs and all SummerQuest events by visiting the Library System’s events directory.
Stay tuned for more information and exciting announcements as SummerQuest approaches!
