During the Covid-19 pandemic many people have become unemployed. Below is a list of information for filing unemployment and contacting their offices. Links at the bottom of the page include references for job searching and career advice from databases available with a Lackawanna County Library Card.

- Can be used for general question and information or biweekly claim filing. Prewritten questions can be found online or by requesting them through the service center

Tips For Contacting Pennsylvania Unemployment Services:
- Call early in the morning
- Avoid calling on a Monday if possible
- Be persistent
- Information that might potentially be needed to file an unemployment claim:
- Social Security number
- UC provided PIN (if you have forgotten your pin go here https://expressforms.pa.gov/apps/pa/DLI-UC/Pin-Request to request a new one)
- Gross Weekly Income earnings (if you partially worked during that week)
- Information on wages you could have earned (if work was available and you chose not to work)
- Holiday or Vacation pay that you received for partially working
- A pen and paper to make notes
