The Carbondale Public Library Garden Club will be meeting on the following dates: April 28 - Growing Tomatoes with Gary White May 19 - Benefits of Native Plants and Birds June 30 - Caring for Houseplants with Kristin Armstrong Most programs are taught by Penn State Master Gardeners. Registration is required.
Penn State Master Gardeners will be at the library to provide children and adults information and activities on renewable energy with quizzes and prizes! There will also be free tree seedlings while supplies last. The Carbondale Public Library's Seed Library will also be available. Take seeds/give seeds to support personal gardens.
Celebrate National Library Week by getting together for a puzzle trade! Bring jigsaw puzzles in to exchange and meet fellow puzzle enthusiasts. Only puzzles without missing pieces, please! A PA Forward® Initiative Promoting Social Literacy.
$15 Each and includes one print and digital access. Mom and her children can get a photo professionally taken just in time for Mother’s Day. Mother’s Day books, crafts, and coloring sheets will also be available. Registration is required for this program.
